YMCA High School Leadership Program

Healthy Plymouth - Old Colony YMCA Teen Leadership Partnership

Now in its second year, the Healthy Plymouth - Old Colony YMCA Teen Leadership Program is currently being offered to students of all grades at Plymouth North High School (PNHS) and Plymouth South High School (PSHS).  Students apply, interview and are accepted into the weekly after school program.  They work together to promote peace in the community, conflict resolution and de-mystify the stereotypes that they may experience in their everyday life.  Teen leaders participate in a range of workshops based on topics of their choosing, including College and Career Readiness, Social Justice, Privilege and Oppression, Team-Building Exercises, Positive Youth Development, Leadership, Creative Expression, Relationship Building and Personal Reflection and Mentoring.
